| About the demo | What we found | How we know |
|---|---|---|
| Getting in | Register with a name, email address and password. No call and no confirmation email. | Checked by us |
| Your workspace | Private. Each visitor gets a separate workspace. | Checked by us |
| Sample data | Six shipments at six different stages and six parties, all with invented names. | Checked by us |
| How long it is kept | Deleted automatically. The demo says after a few hours. | Stated by the vendor |
| Sends email | No. | Stated by the vendor |
What this demo cannot show Scale, your own data, integrations with your other systems, and notifications arriving, because the demo sends none.

How to read a listing
Each listing answers the questions the checklist tells you to ask before you type anything into a demo, so that you can choose which ones are worth an hour.
| On the listing | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Format | Whether you will be using running software (a sandbox or a trial) or clicking through captured screens (a tour). The formats guide explains what each can prove. |
| Access | What stands between you and the demo: nothing, a registration you complete yourself, or a request that somebody has to approve. |
| About the demo | Whether your workspace is private, what sample data is in it, how long it is kept and whether it sends email. These are the points covered in demo data and privacy. |
| How we know | Checked by us means we opened the demo and saw it on the date shown. Stated by the vendor means the vendor told us and we have not confirmed it. Treat the second kind as a claim. |
| What it cannot show | The vendor's own account of the limits of its demo, which is the list from what a demo hides applied to one product. |
What a listing is not
- Not a recommendation. Being listed means a vendor asked, the demo exists and we could open it. It says nothing about whether the product is good or right for you. That is what the hour in the demo is for.
- Not a ranking. The order is alphabetical and stays that way. No listing can be moved up.
- Not paid for. No vendor pays to be listed, and we are not paid when you open a demo.
- Not hosted here. Every button on this page leaves this site and opens the vendor's own demo. What happens there is between you and them, which is why each listing says what the demo does with your data.
Demo SaaS is published by Cargovate, a software company, and Cargovate's own demo is in the list, marked as the publisher's. Products that compete with Cargovate are welcome on the same terms and get the same card in the same alphabetical order.
List your demo
If you run a demo of business software that a visitor can use without a sales call, it can be listed here at no charge. What we check and how to ask sets out the terms, and a listed vendor may show the Demo Checked badge on its own site.
