For listed vendors

The Demo Checked badge

A vendor whose demo is in the directory may show this badge on its own site. It tells a visitor one thing: somebody outside the company opened the demo and published what they found. Clicking it shows them exactly what that was.

What the badge means

If you saw the badge on a software company's website, this is what it stands for.

What the badge does not mean

This matters as much as the list above, and a vendor showing the badge has agreed to it.

Check it yourself

A real badge links to the vendor's own entry on the directory page. If a badge links somewhere else, or the product is not in the directory, it is not ours.

Who may show it

  1. A vendor whose demo is listed. The badge goes with a listing. To get one, see list your demo.
  2. For as long as the listing stands. If the listing is removed, at your request or because the demo can no longer be opened, the badge comes down with it.
  3. Linked to the listing. The badge must link to your entry in the directory, so that a visitor can read what was found. The code below does this for you.
  4. Unaltered. Do not change the wording, redraw it, or place it beside words such as approved, certified, rated or recommended.

Add it to your site

Copy the code for your product into your page. It is one link around one image, served from this site, and it loads nothing else: no script and no cookies. Like any image, our server records that it was requested. There is a version for light pages and one for dark pages.

Cargovate

Links to the Cargovate listing. For a light page:

<a href="https://demosaas.com/demos/#cargovate"><img src="https://demosaas.com/badge/demo-checked.svg" width="200" height="60" alt="Demo checked by Demo SaaS"></a>

For a dark page:

<a href="https://demosaas.com/demos/#cargovate"><img src="https://demosaas.com/badge/demo-checked-dark.svg" width="200" height="60" alt="Demo checked by Demo SaaS"></a>

If your site cannot show SVG images, replace .svg with .png in the image address. The PNG is the same badge at twice the size, for sharp display.

Where to put it

Near the place a visitor decides whether to try the product: beside the button that opens your demo, or on the demo's own entry page. It does the most good next to a sentence of your own saying what happens to what a visitor types, since that is the first thing a careful buyer looks for.
